Information for Commissions or Freelance Work

Hi guys, it's Crow!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio, so here's some important information you'll need to know before reaching out. My commissions are not always open, but you are always free to email me about them. The best place for commission availability updates is my Bluesky .If you'd like to commission me, please use the price list below for reference. You must also read the Terms of Service below the commission sheet before reaching out.For freelance work including concept art, zine work, and illustrations you can email me at anytime to discuss the work you'd need done. I'm always on the lookout for more professional work.

Terms of Service
Here you will find a thorough breakdown of my standard terms of service for commissions. If there is ever any confusion, or something you would like to negotiate when commissioning me please do not hesitate to reach out. You will be asked to state that you have read and agreed to the updated terms of service for your piece before moving ahead with a commission.
Timeline and Scope of Work
I, Crow, will submit a sketch or outline for approval before proceeding with the final commissioned piece.
1. This is only after we have discussed and agreed on a price and an invoice has been sent.
Once the sketch or outline has been approved, major changes to the piece will not be allowed.
1. You are granted 2 sketches before additional costs will be added to the final price.
2. Revisions to an outline will not incur additional costs.
The final commissioned piece will be accomplished within the time frame discussed after approval of the sketch our outline.
If the commission cannot be completed within this time, I will reach out to inform you, upon which time you can decide whether I continue to work or cancel the order. Please refer to section 2 in regards to refunds.
Payment
The total commission price differs per piece, when you approve the total via email it is no longer negotiable. Payment plans can be discussed.
I require at least 25% down payment before sketching, after the sketch is approved full payment is required.
1. For writing commissions full payment is required before work begins.
Refunds for completed commissioned pieces will not be granted.
Refunds for incomplete pieces are case by case only.
Revisions
Only three (3) minor revisions to the commissioned piece will be allowed.
Succeeding revisions after will result in an increased price.
Revisions after the final commissioned piece has been submitted will not be entertained.
Copyright and Reproduction
I, Crow, reserve the right to:
Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc
Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, etc.
This does not apply to portraits of real people or anything you have licensing for (ie. business logos, original non-fandom characters, etc.)
Claim the commissioned piece as my own work.
The Commissioner and other parties may not:
Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc
The exception is if the piece is commissioned with the intent to be used as a banner, icon, etc.
Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, etc. without an agreement or contract
Modify, edit, and repurpose the commissioned piece.
Claim the commissioned piece as their own work.
Post the commissioned piece online WITHOUT proper credits.
This artwork is for PERSONAL USE only. Reproduction of this artwork without proper permission or any evidence that the artwork was used for Commercial purposes will be in violation of The Copyright Clause in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 8). The artist retains all rights to the artwork(s).
