Thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio, so here's some important information you'll need to know before reaching out. My commissions are not always open, but you are always free to email me about them. The best place for commission availability updates is my Twitter.If you'd like to commission me, please use the price list below for reference. Terms of ServiceHere you will find a thorough breakdown of my standard terms of service for commissions. If there is ever any confusion, or something you would like to negotiate when commissioning me please do not hesitate to reach out. You will be asked to state that you have read and agreed to the updated terms of service for your piece before moving ahead with a commission.Timeline and Scope of Work
1. I, Crow, will submit a sketch before proceeding with the final commissioned piece.
2. Once the sketch has been approved, major changes to the design will not be allowed.
3. The final commissioned piece will be accomplished within two weeks of the sketch’s approval. [If the commission cannot be completed within this time, I will reach out to inform you, upon which time you can decide whether I continue to work or cancel the order.]Payment
1. I require a 25% down payment before sketching, and another 25% before completing the commission.
2. Refunds for the commissioned pieces will not be granted.
(This is subject to change when doing specials or emergency commissions.)Revisions
1. Only three (3) minor revisions to the commissioned piece will be allowed.
2. Succeeding revisions after will result in an increased price.
3. Revisions after the final commissioned piece has been submitted will not be entertained.Copyright and Reproduction
I, Crow, reserve the right to:
1. Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc
2. Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, etc. [This does not apply to portraits of real people.]
3. Claim the commissioned piece as my own work.The Commissioner and other parties may not:
1. Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc. [The exception is if the piece is commissioned with the intent to be used as a banner, icon, etc.]
2. Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, etc. without an agreement or contract
3. Modify, edit, and repurpose the commissioned piece.
4. Claim the commissioned piece as their own work.
5. Post the commissioned piece online WITHOUT proper credits to the artist [artist site/profile]Commissioned work is for PERSONAL USE only. Reproduction of this artwork without proper permission or any evidence that the artwork was used for Commercial purposes will be in violation of The Copyright Clause in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 8).
